On this page you will find the answers to some frequently asked questions about buying gluten-free goodies from The Little Bakery of Happiness. If you can’t find the answer on this page, we would be more than happy to help via email or telephone, so do please contact us 🙂

IS EVERYTHING GLUTEN-FREE?

Yes! Vicky – the founder and owner of The Little Bakery of Happiness – has coeliac disease and so runs a completely controlled gluten-free environment within the bakery.

WHAT ABOUT OTHER ALLERGENS? WHERE CAN I FIND INFORMATION?

For each product that we sell on our website, we have included a list of the top 14 allergens present. You will find this information in the ‘Allergens’ tab underneath the image on each individual product page. If you have other allergies or intolerances that are not one of the top 14 allergens, please contact us before placing an order to discuss your requirements.

CAN YOU CATER FOR VEGANS?

Yes we can 🙂 We have a range of both sweet and savoury bakery products that are made with plant-based alternatives. Every care is taken to minimise the risk of cross contamination when making the products we sell without meat, dairy or egg but we do handle all of these in the bakery on a daily basis.

CAN YOUR PRODUCTS BE FROZEN?

All our freshly baked gluten-free products can be frozen for up to six months.

WHEN IS THE WALK-IN BAKERY OPEN? WHERE IS IT?

Current [restricted] opening hours are: 11am-3pm on Fridays and 10am-2pm on Saturdays. We are located at Nene Court Shopping Village in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. It is just off the A45 and 1/2 a mile from Wellingborough train station.

WHEN IS CLICK AND COLLECT AVAILABLE?

If you are using our click and collect service to buy your gluten-free happiness, you will be able to collect on Wednesday-Saturday each week. You will be asked to select an order day/date and time at the checkout so that we can ensure we have your order ready for you on arrival.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY GLUTEN-FREE GOODIES IF I HAVE ORDERED FOR DELIVERY?

We use a next day courier service to get send out our chilled and ambient products. We dispatch orders every Wednesday for arrival with you on the Thursday – just in time for the weekend 🙂

If you need your order for specific date then please do contact us before ordering and we will see what we can do.

WHAT IF I AM NOT IN ON DELIVERY DAY?

Our freshly baked gluten-free range needs to be refrigerated and is sent out in chilled packaging designed to keep your order at the correct temperature while in transit. It is therefore important that there is someone at your delivery address to take receipt of the delivery.

DO YOU OFFER FREE DELIVERY?

Sadly not. As a small business we simply do not have the economies of scale to absorb the costs of shipping our products to you. We do not make any money on our delivery charges – we charge less than it costs us to package and ship your goodies but we are unable to carry the cost completely. Our delivery charges are outlined in on our ordering / delivery page.

WHAT IF THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH MY ORDER?

We are peddlars of happiness and work incredibly hard to make sure all of or customers are happy with the gluten-free goodies they receive from us. If when you receive your order you discover a problem with it, please contact us within 24 hours in order for us to rectify the problem. Please email us with your order details, the problem you have experienced and photographs to show us the problem.
