Definitely one for the ginger lovers, these scones pack a punch with both ground and crystallised ginger in the mix. Bake your scones and spread them with lashings of lemon curd – delicious!

Simply follow the on-pack instructions to bake up a batch of the most deliciously sweet and tender gluten-free buttermilk scones.

Each pack makes 12 x 5.5cm round scones (as illustrated in the picture). Eat on the day you bake them or freeze for a future scone fix!

Our gluten-free ginger scone mix makes a batch of delicious sweet scones fit for any self-respecting afternoon tea plate!

Simply added butter, egg and water to the mix, bring it together to form a dough, roll and cut, brush with egg wash, sprinkle with sugar and bake.

Your biggest challenge will be waiting long enough for them to cool down so you can slather them with jam and cream (we do not pass judgement on which way round you choose to do this :))

Our gluten-free ginger scones are belting paired with a luscious lemon curd.

We do not use preservatives in our baking mixes. This means you should eat our gluten-free scones on the day you bake them. They freeze perfectly, should you not want to eat the whole batch in one day. Simply wrap well to protect from freezer burn and keep for up to six months.  Defrost at room temperature or loosely wrap the frozen scones in foil and defrost/reheat in a moderate oven. Do not refreeze.

The Little Bakery of Happiness is a small [but perfectly formed] specialist gluten-free craft bakery. We produce handmade sweet and savoury treats from our bakery at Elkington Lodge in Welford, Northamptonshire.

Everything we bake is gluten-free and we do offer some dairy-free and vegan goodies, but please note that while our bakery is a controlled gluten-free environment and we do have strict cross-contamination controls in place when baking food that is dairy free and/or vegan, we do use milk, eggs and meat products on a daily basis.



We use Royal Mail to send out happiness. You can choose between a Tracked24 and a Tracked48 service for most products.

Cakes by post are all sent out on a Tracked24 service and postage is charged on each box sent.

All other happiness is sent in one parcel with the all-up weight determining the cost of postage.
